Support the Head of finance as a financial accountant Your new company
Based at Melbourne's Head Office within the Inner suburbs of Melbourne, this national privately owned has been able to capitalise on their market to become a major player in the Industry. With sustained success, there is an exciting opportunity to join this company as the financial accountant during a period of growth.
Your new role
Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial process and reporting, management of payroll and card transactions, along with supporting the wider business. Other duties include:

• Completion of financial and management reporting
• Month end closing activities
• Supporting operation teams to facilitate accurate reporting
• Management of end-to-end payroll across all company entities
• Tax obligations, including payroll tax and workover
• Budgeting / forecasting and analysis
• Projects including process improvement

What you'll need to succeed

• CA / CPA qualified
• Full function financial accounting
• Knowledge of ERP systems and strong excel skills
• Enjoys working in a friendly, positive work culture
• Strong communication / interpersonal skills

A candidate available at short notice would be advantageous.
