Description

This role sits within a high-performing longevity business focused on UK and international longevity risk transactions, supporting insurers and pension schemes in one of the most competitive life markets globally.

You would play a key role in pricing longevity swaps and bulk annuity related transactions, supporting new business tenders while helping evolve pricing bases, propositions and modelling capability across the team.

Key elements of the role include:
• Supporting longevity deal pricing and tender activity across UK and international markets
• Developing expertise in longevity pricing models and assumptions
• Supporting basis development and proposition work for both UK and non-UK markets
• Contributing to system and process development, including automation and modelling enhancements
• Working closely with senior actuaries on portfolio monitoring and in-force longevity business

This is a great opportunity for a technically strong actuary with experience in longevity or the bulk annuity market who wants to join a growing team and gain exposure to international longevity transactions.

Ideal background:
• Experience in longevity swap pricing or bulk annuity transactions
• Strong modelling skills (Excel / VBA / R or similar)
• Ability to translate complex modelling and actuarial concepts clearly
• Commercial awareness of the DB de-risking / longevity risk transfer market

London based with excellent exposure to high profile longevity deals and international markets.
