An exclusive private investment management firm in Chicago is looking to bring on a new Senior Fund Accountant to their team specializing in private credit and BDCs. This will be an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team within the organization and gain exposure to complex fund structures and exclusive investment strategies.
Responsibilities: - Lead fund financial reporting (NAVs, capital account statements, management accounting packages). - Manage transaction processing such as fund distribution and expense allocations. - Review work completed by fund administrators - Coordinate and review capital calls, distributions, and subscriptions - Support audit and tax filing needs on a fund-level.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - CPA required - 4+ years of experience in fund accounting, including 2+ years in public accounting - Exposure to private markets including private credit, BDCs, or private equity
