Role Responsibilities: This role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including maintaining general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring accurate and timely journal entries. The Staff Accountant will monitor fixed assets, support budgeting and forecasting, and maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and organizational policies. The role also includes collaborating with leadership on financial analysis, preparing reports for decision-making, and assisting with audits and other financial reviews.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
2-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with preparing and reviewing financial statements.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and supporting strategic decisions.
Experience with journal entries and maintaining the general ledger.
Knowledge of fixed assets management, including tracking, depreciation, and reporting.
CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is preferred but not required.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting software is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative.
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism.
