Description

Kay International PLC, a Lloyd's specialist re/insurance broker, is looking for a Facultative Reinsurance Broker to join our London team. This is a part-time role, working three days a week in the office.

You will generate new facultative business, manage existing client relationships and place risks with Lloyd's syndicates on competitive terms.

Success means growing a strong book of business, building trusted relationships with clients and syndicates, and contributing directly to the company's brokerage revenue.

Requirements

Responsibilities: 

• Generate new facultative reinsurance business.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships.
• Achieve successful placements and competitive terms.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Lloyds syndicates.
• Contribute to brokerage revenue and profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facultative reinsurance broking, ideally within the Lloyd's market
• An existing network of cedant and Lloyd's syndicate contacts
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of securing competitive terms
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of reinsurance contracts, wordings and placement processes
• A self-motivated approach to new business development
