Key responsibilities:

• Assess and approve secured loan and mortgage applications, ensuring sound risk decisions and compliance with lending policies and regulations
• Review existing secured loans to uphold portfolio quality, service standards, and adherence to policy requirements
• Partner with business and cross-functional teams to drive efficient approvals, strengthen relationships, and ensure seamless lending operations
• Support policy and product development by sharing underwriting expertise, market insights, and customer needs to improve lending solutions
• Drive service improvements, maintain accurate lending records, and stay current on industry practices and regulatory requirements

Candidate profile:

• 5+ years' banking experience, including 3+ years' consumer lending with strong secured lending expertise
• Strong knowledge of mortgage underwriting and secured lending within Hong Kong's financial landscape
• Familiarity with the Hong Kong property market and ability to assess complex lending risks effectively
• Excellent Cantonese and English communication skills with strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Strong ownership, customer-service mindset, teamwork, and commitment to continuous professional development
