Essential Duties:

• Prepares, analyzes and reviews recurring monthly journal entries, supporting schedules and ad hoc requests.
• Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations and account variance analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial data across multiple business units.
• Prepares and submits monthly financial statements and supporting schedules that identify actual, budget, variance and over/under based on the plan.
• Implements and adheres to policies and procedures for the Accounting function, including compliance of all company accounting standards.
• Recommends to management the implementation of policies, procedures, processes and controls based on continual analysis of current accounting processes.
• Interact with internal and external customers using both verbal and written communication skills to discuss accounting processes or issues.
• Provide support to Controllership, Tax and FP&A functions related to various other domestic and international accounting projects.
• Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work of entry level staff Accountants.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a Bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in accounting is required. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in accounting is required.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
• CPA preferred

• Microsoft Office Suite experience required, with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
